Well I know have an actual cold yay, and the tissue feels like sandpaper. On the bright side I did manage to shave a couple inches off my nose, see who needs surgery lol. I do fear not having a nose left by the time i get home meh I’m sure you guys wont mind. Corita now has an eye infection in both eyes thanks to the kids rubbing her sunglasses all over the face. So she can not see and I can not breath, we are like lorral and hardy. On a happy note I cant wait to give everyone their gifts. I did get something for Rob and Jan so i hope they like it. Tonight we are going out for pizza to say good bye to me : ( I am eager to come home now that my nose is on the run, probably to Canada hehe. Ok this will be my last post since I wont be in town tomorrow, however I might blog when I get to Germany if their crazy keyboard will agree with me.
Love you guys xxxooo see you all soon.

I doubt I will have time to write again : ( but thats ok I leave Friday and I have confirmed all my flights. I do however have an 8 hour lay over in Germany sigh good thing there is a lounge this time around. So today was the worst dala dala ride ever count 30 people on it some hanging out the door, I sat on Coritas lap the whole way. Now for ice cream and then to via via where we are saying goodbye to Marion who leaves Thursday. My get together is tomorrow. I will miss the kids and the other volunteers but I am very happy to be coming home since I am getting sick yay respiratory illness for me. I just have a bad cough and it feels like there is an elephant on my chest (I thought elephant would be fitting) I miss everyone and now everyone has gifts I hope you all like them I worked hard to get them lol. Anyway thats all I really have to up date everyone on. I will go on facebook next : )

Ok I will start with medical. I like it very much I have seen a lot of kids being born : ) I got to hold a baby today it was so small. I find it hard sometimes because the nurses speak in swahili but i did manage to figure out that they were talking about preclampsia and the dosage protocole so i was proud. Tomorrow I think i will work in the HIV clinic. So now on to my story. I finished work tuesday at 1 so i caught up with corita my roomie at 3 and we went to a dessert store and i saw lays potatoe chips and since i miss food I bought a bag. We then left and started walking down the street to the bus station when a guy got up and tried to grab my food, I jumped back and he kept coming at me so corita and I grabed eachother and ran through the traffic missing cars barely. I saw him following us through the traffic so when a bus covered us we ran up a side street through a market. I have never been chased before it wasnt fun, I was so ready to crotch kick. I guess I had a good flavour. Note to the robber you need to be faster if you want my chips . Anyway that was the worst thing that has happened to me here so I think i got off easy. This weekend is our dirty weekend where all the volunteers get together and paint a school house which should be fun. As of tomorrow I will be home in one week. I will miss the kids and the patients. Note that the hospitals are very different and I dont want to touch things, but all in all I am happy there.

Hey all apparently my phone wont let me call or text and most people can never reach me, so i am going to the office today to see whats up. I may just have a blackmarket sim card. So we started our trip in Tarengeri and it was soooo hot but I saw a tone of animals like elephants, wildabeast, antelope, monkeys giraffes, warthogs that zazu bird things and timone. The first camp was great it had a pool, but since we didnt know we could only get our legs in the water. There was traditional african dance at night which was fun to watch and they had beer so i was happy. The next day we went to a massai villiage go human planet go! and they taught us how they lived and explained averyhting including. Their houses are so small i almost had to crawl in, the chiefs son was very nice and we were there for about an hour. Erika,Lauren and Heather I bought you massai jewlery i hope you like it. : ) After that we were off to the Serengeti which was great I saw all the animals up close. That night it was a bush camp so we could not leave the tent also elephants are loud when stomping through the bush there were also buffalo in the camp and then I awoke to things scatching my tent so i had to move down in the tent. I anders thinks it was lions but i think hyenas since i heard them all night. The next morning we finished the serengeti and headed to Norgorogoro crater we camped on the rim and it was so cold, oddly i wasnt the coldest one that was marion. We had to make a fire and i slept in all my clothes. That night after dinner i came out and an elephant was staring at me, so i waved. So later after the fire was built we all drank konyagi around the fire go alcohol and I talked to some nice Americans who had just finished 2 years in the peace core in Benin and was traveling a bit before going home. Since we had to get up at 5am in the freezing cold we went to bed at 11. There were worthogs and elephants in our camp and the lions woke me up you would think they could be quiter. The next morning we wnt into the crater and it was awsome but cold. Anywho 726$ , 4 days ,ok bathrooms a rice free meal priceless. But it was really great and im so happy I went see you all next friday.

I arrived early in the morning unpacking without light is hard. I got stuck in my bedroom, but in all fairness it was a skelton key. i got up early and met the kids. They are so cute!. Leasson #1 if you have something the kids will take it agenda, sunglasses, price tag. You wont get it back untill everyoe has seen it. They wat to be held constantly and they call me teacher. My house mate is from denmark! He is very nice. Funny story the kids found one of the notes you left me and asked what it was, I said it’s from my boyfriend to which they asked what that was so i said someone you date and then they asked what tha was to which i said it’s what you do before you are married then they lookd at my hands to see if i was married. I miss you all so much but everyone is nice here! They all come up to welcome you : ) I will write later on in the week and I should get a cell phone today. You guys can also write back to me on here.
